Check of a condition of fans of system of cooling and chains of their inclusion, replacement of fans

Try not to touch blades a krylchatok with hands, the tool and clothes details. In order to avoid receiving a trauma or equipment damage, do not start the engine at the faulty fan. Do not undertake attempts to repair the broken blades of a krylchatka, - change it assembled!

CHECK

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

On all models equipped To/in, two fans - one for обдува a radiator of system of cooling of the engine, and the second for обдува central air condenser are provided. Described below procedure are equally applicable to both fans.

1. For check of serviceability of functioning of the electromotor of a drive of the fan disunite the socket of its conducting. Now, by means of the Provo equipped with a safety lock - da crossing point connect the fan directly to the battery. If the krylchatka does not start to rotate, replace the electromotor.

2. If the motor as it should be, check a condition of safety locks of the fan of system of cooling (safety locks are placed in the assembly block being at the left under the dashboard, on the V6 models check safety locks #3 and #6, on the 4-cylinder - #4), the sensor (ов) - the switch (it) the fan (ов), the relay of the fan of system of cooling, the To/in fan relay (the assembly block in an impellent compartment) and connecting electroconducting of the corresponding contour.

on 4-cylinder models only one sensor switch of the fan of system of cooling, on the V6 models of such sensors switches two ("And" and "In") is provided.

3. For check of serviceability of functioning of any of sensors switches of the fan of system of cooling, disconnect the socket of its electroconducting. Start the engine and by means of an ohmmeter make sure of lack of conductivity between sensor switch plugs at the cold engine (below 88°С conductivity should be absent). Short circuit of the sensor switch should occur after warming up of cooling liquid to temperature over 92 ÷ 96 °C. The temperature of short circuit of the sensor switch of the To/in condenser makes 108°С. In case of violation of the described dependence of existence of conductivity replace the faulty sensor switch. Disconnection of each of sensors switches should occur at temperature on 3 ÷ 8 degrees below temperature of their short circuit.

Do not leave the engine working at the disconnected sensors switches more long, than it is necessary for carrying out the described checks. Do not delay restoration of initial connection of electroconducting, then, having given to the fan a little повращаться, switch off ignition.

4. On 4-cylinder models only one thermosensitive sensor switch supervising functioning of fans of both systems (cooling and air conditioning) is provided. On the V6 models of such sensors switches two - on one for each of systems.

5. For check of the relay of fans, take the corresponding relay from the nest in the assembly block, connect to the battery the plug 3 and earth the plug 4. The serviceable relay should become isolated, having created conductivity between plugs 1 and 2 which should disappear at food shutdown.

Check of the ventilyatorny module of management

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the V6 models functioning of the fan of system of cooling the special electronic module located under a knee emphasis of the forward passenger operates. Remove an emphasis (see. Head Body). Probe plugs of each of wires from a reverse side of the socket of the module sharp shchupy at two positions of the lock of ignition (ON and OFF). Be careful - try on to puncture isolation.

2. Make sure available conductivity between the plug of a black wire and weight. If conductivity is absent, check serviceability of a contour of grounding.
3. Make sure available tension of the battery on plugs of the following wires: the white, black yellow - 1, black yellow - 2, ochroleucous and yellow. If tension is absent, check a condition of the corresponding safety locks in both assembly blocks (under the dashboard and in an impellent compartment).
4. Again include ignition, having restored initial connection of electroconducting. Earth the plug of a green wire on weight. If fans do not work, check on break green, yellow and ochroleucous wires
5. Measure tension on the plug of a white and green wire. Demanded value at temperature of the engine below 107 °C makes 11 ÷ 12 In, - whether otherwise check there is no short circuit on mass of the case, estimate a condition of the module of management and the thermosensitive sensor switch.
6. Before testing the new module, disconnect both ventilyatorny relays and make sure of lack of conductivity between the plug of a yellow/ochroleucous wire and weight (establish on an ohmmeter a range of measurement of 20 Kiloohms). If conductivity takes place, the new module at inclusion also will fail.

Replacement

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Described below procedure are equally applicable to both fans.

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Cock the parking brake and prop up back wheels of the car protivootkatny boots. To Poddomkratta a car front also establish it on props. At the corresponding complete set remove the bottom antispray screen of a radiator.
3. Having passed a small screw-driver in the socket, release a lock uvula and disconnect fan electroconducting.

On the models equipped with a control system of speed, liberate a driving cable темпостата from two plastic clamps from above on casings of fans.

4. On assembly of the fan of central air of air turn out the bottom fixing bolt

5. To Otboltita the fan from the top part of a radiator.

6. Accurately take the fan from an impellent compartment.

At the corresponding complete set it is necessary to take aside the driving cable liberated from clamps темпостата.

7. For removal of a krylchatka from a shaft of the motor give the central nut.

8. For removal of the driving electromotor from a casing of the fan turn out fixing screws.

9. Installation is made upside-down.
