Removal and installation of the main section of the dashboard

Models of cars considered in the real Management are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid receiving traumas at its casual operation (see. Head Onboard electric equipment). Electroconducting of a chain of SRS is easy for distinguishing on yellow color of isolation.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that have the correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Remove finishing sections of the dashboard (see. The section Removal and installation of finishing sections of the dashboard) and assembly of the central console (see. Section Removal and installation of the central console).
3. Remove a combination of devices (see. Head Onboard electric equipment) and a ware box (see. Section Removal and installation of finishing sections of the dashboard).
4. At the corresponding complete set of the car disconnect electroconducting and remove a passenger safety cushion (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).
5. Remove from the central part of the dashboard radio tape recorder assembly (see. Head Onboard electric equipment).

6. Remove a knee emphasis with a rigidity edge (see. The section Removal and installation of finishing sections of the dashboard), then turn out bolts of fastening of a steering column and lower it down, having provided possibility of free removal of the main section of the dashboard.

7. Take a coin box from the lower part of the deflector of a driver's ventilating air line and give two fixing screws located under it. Release the top and central clamps and remove the deflector, disconnecting electroconducting of a drive of the top hatch and темпостата (at the corresponding complete set).

8. Having hooked a screw-driver, remove the deflector of a passenger ventilating air line.

In order to avoid damage of a surface of the dashboard, paste over a lattice on perimeter with an adhesive tape.

9. At dismantle of the main section of the dashboard it is necessary to disunite a set of electric sockets. It will be reasonable to mark them previously.

10. Turn out all bolts of fastening of the main part of the dashboard to a car body. Lift the panel (besides bolts it fastens in the middle three plastic pins) and, having separated it from the wind flew down, take from car salon through a driver's door.

11. Installation is made upside-down.
